light housekeeping under the direction and supervision
of a professional nurse.
Physical Therapists assist the patient in achieving
a maximum level of functioning through a home exercise
program.
Occupational Therapists assist the patient in
regaining daily skills needed to function independently
at home or at work.
Speech Therapists administer a restorative program
to help those patients with communication difficulties.
Medical Social Workers help the patient and
family resolve emotional or financial concerns and provide
a connection to Companion resources.
Homemakers/Companion perform various light housekeeping
activities, meal preparation and child-care needed when
the patient is unable to handle these responsibilities.
Live-Ins provide an individual with continuous
monitoring, supervision, and coordination of daily living
activities on a twenty-four basis in the individual's
private home.
Chore Services include heavy indoor or outdoor
housekeeping tasks.
Supplemental Staff such as Registered Nurses,
Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nurses Assistants
are available to hospitals and nursing homes to assist
in meeting scheduling and private duty needs.
